In 2004, after many years of supplying plant hire services as the plant division of Farm & General Services, FGS Plant Ltd was established and moved primarily to its newly acquired site at Sittingbourne.

2004 saw a substantial investment to establish a fleet of new, top of the range, plant and machinery that is second to none so that we might provide all our existing and potential customers with total plant hire solutions.

Throughout the South East

With our two prime locations, just off the M2 and M20 motorways and the extensive range of plant available to us we are able to deliver and operate machinery fast anywhere in Kent and throughout the South East, often at very short notice for any unexpected requirements. FGS Plant’s professional advisors provide more than a plant hire service, we are dedicated to building relationships of real and enduring benefit to our clients ensuring that we meet their expectations at all times.

Extensive Operator training

All our plant and machinery is available for self-drive hire or with qualified operators. Training is an important and vital aspect of our business and all staff are trained to CPCS standards, many with blue competence cards in various categories of plant. In addition to the CPCS scheme, our employees regularly undergo Health and Safety Training and other In House training and their progress is monitored on an annual basis.
